Images of North America
January 22, 2024|American Landscape and Parks
North America is a beautiful continent, with mountains, woodlands, plains, beautiful lakes and coastal areas. The land area is vast and varies greatly in topography. Climate conditions vary widely, providing tropical, sub-tropical and cold climate regions with widely differing flowers, vegetation and natural habitat.

With over ninety percent of the continent occupied by only twenty percent of the population, North America is still largely rural. This provides numerous choices for recreation and access to vast open areas to explore. The park systems within the USA and Canada are excellent places to visit and enjoy nature’s canvas. The scenes are many and varied. This is just one example of the beauty and diversity of the landscape: A tranquil view at Lily Lake in Western Colorado is shown above.
